THE COMMUNITY LEADER
Leadership is personal
when it is close to home.
Khombelwayo serves as Chief of Hillsview, New Europa, Happy Villa and Fairview in Maseru.
Community leadership means working alongside residents, representatives, local businesses and public institutions. Safety, cooperation and responsible development depend on people taking shared responsibility for the place they call home.
Progress begins with knowing our neighbours and looking out for one another.
A neighbourhood recognised
In 2024, Hillsview and New Europa received the award for Best Community Policing Neighbourhood in Maseru Urban. This is a community achievement, reflecting residents’ commitment and the work of the Mahokela patrol team and law-enforcement partners.
Building community, together
Neighbourhood safety, local improvements and gatherings each play a part. His office works with the community to support cooperation, care and a sense of belonging across generations.
